I can recommend a shoe maker PROPET from Canada.
I have only bought their hiking boot but have bought three pairs.
Unlike every other shoe/boot I have worn, there is no breaking in with a PROPET. You put them on and go.
Amazingly light weight, waterproof, (for winter hiking I go thru deep snow and jump small streams often landing in freezing water - but these boots keep ma feet warm and dry) and comparably cheap!
They come with a great guarantee and if ya send in the warranty card the company sends ya a small gift.
