I didnt realize the Great Wall of China isn't actually the Great Wall of China. And the root bridges are incredible.
People tend to think that the modern era is the like the peak of human ability, but the intelligence, ingenuity, organization, and man power that it took to create these sorts of things and other things from the ancient world is just astounding. And that these things have lasted for hundreds if not thousands of years is also impressive. You got to wonder how much of our current infrastructure and landmarks could last that long.
