It could be a fantasy. Straight men who have a fantasy about another are not likely to admit it to themselves...much less anyone else.
...and even with the fantasy...assuming that is the case....it still wouldn't make a straight guy gay...or even bi. It would depend on a lot of other things.....
You could look for other clues...but sometimes that backfires because basically when we have a suspicion and look for evidence to support it..sometimes we grab anything and interpret it to fit into what we want to believe when it may not be the case. I think that is normal for pretty much everyone....
I wish I had a better answer but the bottom line for me...I would just trust my gut....and if your gut it telling you something..pay attention!
