I do feel much better now that I'm living my life more true to who I am and what I need. My girlfriend also has 2 boys, almost the same age as my daughter, and we're hoping to raise them all to feel more at home in themselves than we did growing up, and to show them the normalcy of our relationship, as well as all sorts of relationships, sexuality, and identities. It's really wonderful to see the openness that kids have… my daughter already tells me she hopes she can have two mummies, and she wants me to marry a woman (this came out of some conversations about different families and relationships).

We actually have a really amazing lgbt support system in our city, and I'm sure in the future, we'll be taking the kids to the rainbow families group…. I'm hoping we can build a great support system for them.

I don't mind male beauty threads, ha I won't be adding or viewing them much I'm sure but why wouldn't you guys want to post about beautiful men? That's to be expected… I won't bore you all with my female crushes, ha. No one here wants to see them lol

That's really good to hear that everything is going well with the kids! And that you have the support locally too! I'm still not at the forming a relationship with a guy stage just yet. Must admit it's the impact on my kids that makes me most apprehensive, not so much for them but those around- I'm an ex Londoner living in rural cornwall. Some people locally know why my wife and I have split(people my wife trusts) but others don't. If I find a boyfriend I can see it being "the talk of the town"- for a while anyway!


I don't mind hearing about your crushes, I'm still Bi enough to appreciate them haha! Is Alison Hannigan one by any chance? I loved her in Buffy- I was always quirky like that, everyone used to go on about Buffy, I liked the cute redhead! Haha! Although Spike was sexy in a punk kind of way, and Giles in a bookish kind of way. Hmm looking back think that's the difference cute versus sexy!
