Wow, those sculptures are amazing!

A shame they’re hidden away if they are indeed.There’s a real problem though for Italian authorties and private foundations with preservation etc. There's more significant architecture, sculpture etc in Italy than there are funds available to preserve them, let alone put them on public display. 
One compensation is the growing collection of ‘romanitic ruins’ so many gardeners find the perfect background for their botanical creations. de Ninfa for instance. In fact some of the Toriona marbles wouldn’t lookout of place dotted about here and there.
