capitalism and the holidays

Christmas was the day all of my mothers personalities showed up at once :eek: ... so nothing Hallmark has to say has any effect on me. I do not celebrate Christmas...or Thanksgving...or any other holiday and I haven't most of my adult life. I do buy a few gifts for the people who work for me but it is because I want to and not because I have to. I am not fond of any occasion where I am "expected" to feel a certain way...I avoid any of these situations and Holidays top that list.
