Well it works like this.
The charges relate to fraud and curruption before he was elected president, by the ruling party, which is as you know, the ANC.
He was in fact convicted on these charges.
But because all the rest of the group are wound up in the same dirty linnen, and the charges relate to the state secretes act, they elected him into the office of president, and as long as he remains president the courts cannot execute sentencing.
As I understand it, the charges relate to the so called arms deal, which by and larfe involved the UK and France.
