Well, to cite Pellaz, if Santorum manages to get the most votes in the Republican Primary, there will likely be an assassination. Though, it won't be the type we are all familiar with. Likely, what would happen is that there would not be enough votes for any of the candidates to secure the Republican Party's nomination. So, come the Republican Convention, some wheeling and dealing will be done behind closed doors, and the delegates will chose the candidate most likely to win the Presidency, which is the moderate conservative, Mitt Romney.
