Latest news down here.

We are expecting a huge wet trough to come through in the next few hours.
A severe flash flooding alert is in force.

Currently the river is rising again , but at a slower pace , we are at 4.2 meters.
She rose 1.2 meters overnight.
Braidwood completely under at the moment.

Sydney resident can now return to their houses.

Death toll so far is at 3 with more people missing.

Some good news from this whole wetness inconvenience.

Lake George known as the disappearing lake ,has water in it for the first time in 10 years.
Those rain clouds are amazing.

Here we go again.
It's only been a year, this past Jan, since you guys went under.

The worse thing about this whole La Niña cycle is that it lasts 12 years.
I am not even sure where we are in this thing.

We've been under twice twice already this year.

Next summer will be a further weakened La Nina, then a couple of years of nothing which means regrowth, and then el nino for 5-8 years...that means drought and bushfires

32c extrememly humid, a beautiful sunny day just starting to cloud over and humidity is rising, so it is starting to feel like a storm.

No that I an aware of , covered either way insurance wise.
It's just freak rainfalls that are raising the river levels .
We are in the agricultural part of town , and we are much higher than the city parts.

dfiant is having the same problems up his way.
Last year in Queensland was the most horrific thing I have ever seen , and the water came up so fast.
Very heart breaking.
