only the cantonese in china eat dog or cat. The main source of meat is going to be cow, pork, and chicken. It is a joke amongst the chinese that the cantonese will eat anything from dogs and cats to insects.

I know Korea serves dog. I would think you would want to eat a dog that was capable of getting fat, it's the fat and connective tissue that gives meat its flavor. The greyhound would be a lean meat, and perhaps have a decent flavor if slow cooked to allow the connective tissue to melt so the flesh would be moister and have a better flavor. You would also want a younger dog since it would have less time to exercise and toughen the muscle up.

beans can be nutritous if eaten with rice or other grains to make a complete protein to mimic the protein you find naturally in animals. Its a staple of south america. You can be totally vegetarian and be very healthy, you just have to be more aware of what you eating so you do not deprive yourself of any nutrients. Would I become or raise anyone to be a veggie? No.... because too many people become lazy.

I for one will try anything once. I've eaten mystery meat in both China and Mexico. I don't think I could visit someone's home or another country and refuse food offered to me. To me that is being about as rude as one can get because they put a lot of effort into preparing a meal for me and their family.

I knew someone in the military a few years back who had been posted in Korea,

Her apartment was next to a warehouse where they butchered dogs for restaurants. They would put the young dogs (correct futureRD) in sacks and beat them to death while living, rendering the meat more tender than doing it after death. The screams all day nearly drove her mad until she cold move. You have to be really poor to be able to beat a puppy in a sack...or a real fuck head.

Some things, like dog, are just off limits to me. I've travelled all around the world however and eaten a LOT of wierd stuff. Bugs, larva, strange animals and fish....crocodile, kangaroo, snake.. Hell, oysters are pretty aweful if you think about it. Big, goopy, wet, huge booger looking things. Who ever opened the first one and thought, "Yeah, I could slurp that down"?

Duck is to fatty for my tase and not as tastey as chicken or Turkey or Ostrich (mmmm, yummy) Plus, ducks are mean and used to chase my dog..and don't get me going on Swans! Bastards! All those granny's at the park protecting them and they're like the pit bull's of the avian world! I"d eat a Swan just out of spite ;-) Big and beautiful and .. aggressive and mean and dangerous. Little kids, dogs, other birds..they'll attack them all. Swans? You bet, with gravy.

Ooooh, hit a nerve I'd forgotten!

God Futured you do know your stuff

Strangest thing i ve eaten is crocodile (rigid and chewy kind of meat) and a roasted bug or something, didnt ask what it was. I lost a bet you see and had to pay up... kept my cool but it was revolting and was disgusted for a month. Really.
Besides i find it cruel to kill any animal beating the to death wouldnt eat anything with intelligence. Dogs/puppies, cats/kittens not a chance i d rather eat grass.
