A sweet message off a close friend was a great start to my day mile:

Friday for one of my classes we had a 10 year old girl and her mom visit and talk to us. The young girl was diagnosed with osteosarcoma at age 8 and her lower left leg had to be amputated. She was just incredible talking about the process of being fitted for a prosthesis, learning how to use it and what her prosthesis means to her.

She just made me so happy and I can't stop thinking about her. The whole experience just put a whole new perspective on design for me. mile:

I had a class today and my instructor was talking to me and stuff and actually took an interest in what I do and what I like to do. He was a nice guy. It's nice to be accepted for once...and I saw a Shiba Inu puppy. I almost died of over cuteness. mile:
