Aye.. At the end of the day it says alot.. But then there are people which treat pets as an ornament rather than part of their life. In the end pets depend on their owners.. and in alot of cases owners depend on them. I know if i feel down my bunny makes me laugh with the idiotic things he does :biggrin:

But for alot of older people a pet is the only friend they have..

My bunny has never bitten me.. He flips over alot to sleep and I was like eh? But apparently it means hes content, and feels secure so im like aww. :biggrin:

I just feel people commit to pets when they know they shouldnt..

My mate was going to have a rabbit I got (adopted from pets at home as it was beaten), but it was agreed if my bunny didnt get on she would have it, well they didnt so i asked her if she was ready, she said yeh ill keep it in a basket for a few nights, then it will stay at my nans, where her nan goes away for 5 days a week.. So in the end I found another home as I knew she couldnt commit.

I had budgies once - from an old man on my paper round who was getting ill from them - but was at school all day. They didn't take to me, so weren't sociable, so I got bored, so they went again after a few months.

Trouble is, I DID feel bad. I used to HATE having to clean them out. But I was told before I got them that I would have to, so why did I?
