I gave Ebony low doses of Xanax, or one of those pills for anxiety. It made her a lot more happier than she had been. The poor thing had been severely abused as pup as a result she had anxiety issues.

I appreciate what you're saying but not everything is a job for the vet, Poppy has a very loving family here and we wouldn't see any harm being done to her.

i think what bowyn means is that sometimes it takes more to recover from past abuse than just being in a good situation in the present ~ although that definitely helps ...
