A good example of poly-bashing would be Bowyn Aerrow's post # 15.

E.g., "I think this label polyamorous is just an attempt to justify or make promiscuity a bit more palatable to the general public."

Bowyn Aerrow is apparently equating polyamory with promiscuity, about which he says "If you give your heart to a person and just have sex outside of the relationship, you ain't really loving those other people. You are just being sexually active...."

Now, just why am I supposed not to notice that I'm being told off here? How am I to take posts like this as not dismissive?

ok point taken however i feel both parties need to understand in a forum all it is is a point of openness and key 1 is respect for all.. I can understand how u could feel the way u do and i dont feel that bowyn has the right to over step or ya i am simply just sitting on the fence and defusing a situation before it arises....

p.s i can understand being in love with someone and then having sex with a stranger as that is a sign of being comfortable in a relationship and also in an open relationship i do understand a partner is a lover and when u do it with em its love and with others its just a shag... can spice up a relationship
