Most of the time, the scratches are my fault anyway... use fingers instead of string to play, stroke them into a frenzy, administering drugs and ointments which they dont want to take. But the neck thing was completely unprovoked... he just ran and jumped behind me, climbing over the back of my head with claws out! One of my cats has given me a scar for life... its faint but it runs down the wrist vein (Median anti-brachial vein).. and bled well at the time!
