Its called a dermal anchor its similar to a rivet. theres a a wide flat base with a post sticking out and they surgically implant it under your skin after six months of it healing into the scar tissue i can change the dot that protrudes out of the skin. To remove it i have get it cut out.

Its just a tiny cut with a scalpal through i think three layers of skin and there placed in there and positioned with forceps and twisted so the stay in place. search michro dermals on youtube.
