I used to vlog! Not for very long, last summer I started but gave up soon after as I wasn't sure if I liked it, plus the more comments/subscribers I got the more pressure I felt to be good at it, which in my opinion, I wasn't.

But I hate being on camera! lol

I can stand infront of a bunch of people and sing or play my Viola, but the moment I see a camera or something, I get nervous. Which is why I play with my eyes closed alot :biggrin: .

Something about knowing that your being recorded kinda weirds me out for some odd reason.

Perhaps because I'm a perfectionist, so the possibility of any wrong note or sound that I might make being recorded makes me nervous, so I end up getting nervous when a camera pops out :redface: .

My accent would probably leave you all going "...eh?...", unless I choose to forego it .

If I were to Vlog, it would probably be about music or animals, cause I can't seem to stop talking about them.

... Actually I probably could, if only I had a camera , my computer doesn't recognize my iPod's videos... or I'm doing it wrong :redface:.

Well to me, life in general is never uneventful, even if nothing happens, something is always happening.

Most people focus on perceptable and perceivable ideologies of "exciting" or "interesting". Meaning, they wanna see things "go boom" , rather than connect on a purely human level and actually listen or watch without the constant need of action/humour/etc.

Although, your taught in music to sit and listen to music, so I guess that's just me, but I don't need to see fast paced action or a gut-busting skits to entertain me.

Everything in general to me is interesting. It's quite odd actually, because hardly anyone I know asks themselves "Why is that there?" or "How does that work?" or anything that requires thought.

So just because you think something isn't interesting or you think someone else won't find it interesting, doesn't mean it's not interesting. :biggrin: .

Didn't quite expect this thread to kick off such a large and widespread conversation but when it comes down to it, vlogging is easy.. really, I may not seem like I hate being on camera but I do hence why I can never find myself directly looking into it for long periods of times and go off topic now and then but thats all part of it, you don't NEED a specific topic to speak about just speak freely with whatever pops in to your mind it's all about opening up, voicing your opinion and well.. just speaking! :biggrin:

Hmm, mine started off quite crap and still are to be fair but with time, effort and practice put into doing it, it soon becomes enjoyable and you slowly gain confidence being on the camera for those small few minutes of your 24 life - if you think about it this way, you're on camera alot outdoors CCTV and all you just aren't aware of it because it's not directly in your face and you're not the center of attention mile:

Rikki I've posted another few vlogs lately and will respond to yours soon just trying to keep youtube and the forum separate a wee bit so to speak because family & friends who don't know im bi watch the vlogs and well.. they're really homophobic so I don't entirely plan on letting them find out anytime soon :redface:
