What's a polite way...

There is a coworker I am very curious about. Based on things he's said and the company he keeps I'm dying to find out if he's gay or not, but it's an awkward conversation for me to initiate for some reason. Someone else even said he was, but I refuse to take their word for it as there's quite a rumor mill sometimes anyway.

We're on pretty friendly terms but I'm not interested in him *that* way, even though I'd say he's pretty hot. Too young for me and not quite on the same mental plane. I'm just always curious to know if we have that particular common ground - tends to aid in conversation.

It will come up in conversation given time. It depends where he is at in his own head space. He may not be out, he may not have reconciled his sexuality, and many other variables. Just give it time, I am confident it will come up in conversation when the time is right Wink
