I hear ya on that one!! All I've done is suck on a couple of throat sweets just to try and soothe it. Unless I'm can't get out of bed ill... I will very rarely take anything.

I'm the same! I went to the docs for a pain in my belly button part a few years ago65 , just a routine check to see ya know and he went "hmm could be a viral infection... I'll put you on a 2 week course of pain killers" - didn't bother taking them lol. What good's that gonna do? 2 weeks later, the pain killers will run out and I'll still get the belly button pain duuuh.

No wonder liver problems are on the increase, all the medication they prescribe! Sore throat lozenger things are nice, we used to have these strong ones that were lime flavour - used to numb your tongue too hehe. I've never taken a paracetemol or anything in my life though mile:
