Spoonerisms
#1
n. the transposition of initial or other sounds of words, usually by accident. (1895-1900 after W. A. Spooner (1844-1930), English clergyman noted for such slips).

This old gentleman made many a talko [like a typo only verbal] in his time but my favourite is the one he made at a church dinner party once. Queen Victoria was on the throne and he raised his glass and said to all and sundry "Let us drink to the Queer Old Dean" Perhaps you or your friends have made similar verbal gaffs. If so let's hear them.
