today in a back page NYTimes article Jim Parsons came out. He is playing Sheldon Cooper on the Big Bang Theory tv series.

Well, he certainly isn't now, eh? Why do we think that anyone's sexuality is any of our business though??? Because unless we were planning to date the guy in question, what is it to us who he sleeps with?

I appreciate the way that he has dealt with his sexuality. He hasn't hidden his sexuality, nor has he made a big deal of it...that's the way it should be because it is when you make a big deal out of sexuality it is made out to be a bigger deal than it really is...sexuality is natural.

That's the sort of role model I hope younger people look to rather than the ones that shout it from the roof top and camp it up for all to see.
