Hello, my name is Steve, I am new to this forum. I was just looking for a way of expressing my thoughts.. my feelings.. my poems.. with someone who might actually understand and appreciate them for what they are.

"Never"
I will never be the same again.. that part of me is gone..
Yet I'm supposed to take whats left.. and somehow carry on,
I don't think I'm strong enough.. to forget the last eight years...
I'm not the man I used to be.. I've nothing left but tears,
As again this heart is broken.. it feels a mortal wound...
And I couldn't stop the bleeding.. even if I wanted too,
But I'm very sure, how lonely.. life is without you near...
For every single thing I do.. reminds me your not here,
Never again... to hold you... never to touch your face...
Never to see or hear you.. the world is out of place,
And though the sun will rise and fall... as time waits for none...
I await the someday that.. to you my heart will run.
