Housing benefit reforms
#1
Hi guys....Have you heard about David Cameron's ideas for reforming housing benefit rules.
Anyone UNDER 25 will NOT recieve housing benefit!!!

To me....a complete joke.
I understand his reason...to get rid of the "something for nothing state" BUT....what about the poor kids that do look for work....cant live with their parents?
They will be left homeless and no doubt resulting in them commiting crime to survive.
The job climate is ridiculous at the moment.
Too many foreign workers....how do they expect kids to get jobs when 95% of the vacancys go to immigrant workers.

I really think he would be making a huuuge mistake if he brings these plans to parlament.

22 billion pound is spent each year on housing benefit.
The reforms would save us approx 1,6 billion.
So only a small amount of the budget is going to be saved.
It will cost alot more to deal with the crime this will produce so its a no win...no go policy for me.
Typical tories....poor get poorer...rich get richer :+(

Hey if they do a crime, they get off the street. It works for everyone - right?

Besides, I'm over 46 years old, I really don't care about 25 and under - its their problem, not mine.

I would make a great politician, no?
