Does anyone ever use the chat room?

I've been in there pretty much every evening this week usually with the same three or four people. You just gotta find the right time I guess, which can be hard when people here are from around the globe and have all sorts of livelihoods and schedules.

It seems everytime I check the chat room, it is empty. What's the deal? :confused:

ITC, I think you have to publicize that you're in the chat rooms... If you can access the chat box (shout box) on the main page, just say you're in the chat rooms, and I think people will probably trickle in. You could also just collect the names of those who are online from the who's online box (if you can see it, lower right hand side corner) and / or from the bottom of the main page where it says who's active online... and invite them personally to come and chat.
I generally just advertise that I'm in the chat rooms in the shout box, and it's never long before someone joins.

I use it from time to time, just depends on what's going on offline, or elsewhere online.

Maybe we could come up with topics and ideas for discussion in there and post what date and time we could host a live chat on a specific topic. (LGBT related of course.) Thoughts?

You have to stay in it for a bit because many people won't enter unless they see people there already.

I use it all the time, but people are online during specific times. Mainly I find people online between 20:00-02:00 here in Sweden (Central Europe time).

But just as Pip said... Sometimes people don't enter the Chatroom because no one is in there, but since you wont enter when there is no one will no one else to. So if you just step in and wait for a while, you will eventually see someone enter as well
