I just gotta brag / boast / impress ya all

The first 7 days of my holiday is fishing... see pics on my profile, see post below.... Same place

Then the next 8 - 10 days I will be doing the 8 mountain passes challenge of which I wrote a while back

The passes are: -
Joubert's Pass at 2236m
a remarkable maximum gradient of 1:6, (Gravel road)

Naude's Neck Pass at 2590m,
(Highest pass in SA, (Gravel road)

Carlislehoekspruit Pass at 2517m
Driving skill level: Intermediate to expert.
Make use of local knowledge before attempting the drive and be sure to take warm clothing with you, just in case.
Road condition: Gravel surface (some sections partially covered with concrete).
Remarks: Very steep. Some hair raising bends. Very scenic.

Volenteershoek Pass at 2381m
(Very poor conditions)

Baster Voetslaan Pass at 2235m,
Driving Skill level: Novice to skilled depending on season
Road condition: Gravel surface, sharp turns, snowfalls, slippery
Remarks: Snowfall in season (Very poor conditions)

Lundean's Neck Pass at 2165m,

Otto Du Plessis Pass at 2114m

Barkly Pass at 2020m.

NOTE:- I have previously done the first 2

I've just had a call from there, IE (Barkley East) you can google Barkley East Eastern Cape SA and the up-shot is I will be camping on a farm in the mountain, that is only used during sheep shearing season, some 5Km outside Barkley East, on the Road to Rhodes

Google bat cave Eastern cape SA to get an idea of the kind of roads....

Only running water, no electricity and all on my own YAAAAAAY!

But guess what!

For free!

I'm soooooo stoked, as this is absolutely the perfect trip to break in my new camping trailer that I designed and built over the last few weeks.

NTACB Bob is still in ER waiting for a room upstairs at Hospital - Sheesh - 8 hours since I left him in their care and they are not caring for him the way I demand that they should.

This will not do... I'm going to hospital now to lecture the Chief of Medicine and demonstrate to him how to run a hospital all proper like.

Heads will role I tell you....

Seriously, not that anyone cares, but I will not be at home much today.... I already made a half dozen cups of coffee while drinking my three phone calls... Wait - what - strike that reverse it...

I'm so tired I can't see straight... Oh wait, I have never seen straight - I'm gay.
