NTACB... South I guess I could steal the shower chair from Bob's, not like he's going to be using it anymore....
But think about this for a moment, look at your day to day life and consider what would happen if you blanked out for 2 seconds while ______________(Fill in the Blank).... Seriously if you think about it long enough you would go mad with worry. If I allow myself to start taking 'safety measures' for everything that could happen I would be doing nothing at all....

It's about lessening the chances of something really bad happening. I suppose you can't do any damn thing if you're walking down the stairs, but you putting a chair in the shower is ONE thing, ONE thing, it will not be disrupting your entire life nor it will be forcing you to fear the absent seizures all the time.

NTACB And when have I said I fear my absence seizures?
The potential for another status epilepticus does cause me pause, but not real fear... But then the whole 'that can very well lead to death' aspect of it is justification for pausing... That is the only part of having seizures I remotely fear. Considering I shower once a day on average, and the typical shower lasts less than 15 minutes (yes I speed shower), the chances are very low that I will have an absence in the shower. So low that sitting in a chair each time I take a shower is over reacting to the issue. Besides I nearly immediately thought the whole slipping and falling out of the shower thing was funny, especially since I literally slapped myself in my own face with my.... well you know - surely that image alone gets many snickering.... Sure I laid there for a moment slightly dazed my naked arse up in the air solidly rammed against the side of the tub for a moment, doing the 'turtle stuck on its back' routine - thus adding a new level of hilarity to the image, you know, legs stuck up in the air floundering around helplessly whilst trying to turn over and get leverage with my arms against the floor.... THAT is the stuff great comedies are made out of.... So fear it - hell no - that shits down right funny...
