Ntabc ....but I've been thinking today how horrible fundraising galas are. Too noisy, the food was shit and there wasn't enough of it....and the speakers were generally dreary, except for our new Lieutenant governor general. I like her and it has been a long time since I saw her last.
I realize that we are all guilty of making our friends sit through these events every time we buy a table...and so this was payback.....but our host for the evening confessed this morning that he came home and made a couple of pieces of toast with peanut butter...and we fled at about 11 pm in order to come home and go to bed before midnight. I don't know why we all just don't write a cheque and then stay home and watch Netflix.

ntabc...but I have to spend an entire day in a professional association thing....in one of those horrible, windowless convention whorehouses.....wish me luck. I may die of boredom.
