My ex.....
#1
......he's trying to wreck my head. He told me to stay out his life, and weeks apart he will text me and e-mail me to a glimmer of hope that we will get back together and then tells me 'I need help' and that I am a 'good for nothing freak and always probably will be.'
I really don't know how to get over him, or even if I'm obsessed. It's very scary, I'm just in a horrible place. I wake up in the morning with this sinking feeling and don't want to get up, I feel like I don't have anything to get up for.

Please help, I don't know what else to do.

Why does he texts you these things? Is there any history behind that if you tell us we could give you a better advice?

For know i will just say try to avoid him and ignore his messages.

Oh dear !! :frown:.

Hokay, first and foremost babe, you need to be able to find a way to get ahold of this situation so that you can deal with it optimally.

This means we (as you seem to be having understandable difficulty with it, so I mean you, me, and the guys here) need to square up to your problems head-on, so that we can tackle them ...

It doesn't sound from what you've said like you're obssessed with your ex per se - it sounds to me more like he's jerking you around like a rag doll, which means any normal process of severance, grieving and healing-up is being delayed as he keeps coming back !!

I think that, if you're wanting to take stock of this situation, you owe it to yourself to make a decision FOR yourself, and stick to it. Don't let him keep coming and going like this as he's basically trampling your heart down ... you decide what the line is going to be, and where he fits in with regard to it. If you want to end it so that you can do the natural thing and heal-up and move on, then tell him to just f*ck off and leave you alone, and get on with the process of healing ...

Otherwise, whilst HE's in the driving seat, it looks like he's just going to keep on screwing with you, and that's no good for you ...

xx

Ah right !!

I really should have researched this before I posted shouldn't I !! Lol2.

So this is the same lad as before ...

... well, it's a VERY bitter pill to swallow, but based on the fact that you've been in touch with him, you've explained how you feel, you've told him you want to be a part of his life and for things to get back on track between the two of you, and he has responded in very black and white terms, then I really do think it's time for you to draw the line, and let him go.

Since he's been so VULGAR about it when you've been (from what you've said here) both polite and sincere, smacks of the kind of guy he is when he's either hurt or pissed off, and so I wouldn't waste any more of your time with him - you deserve better than to be treated that way babe.

I'm really sorry I cannot be more upbeat, but I think you have to look to protect yourself from further hurt from this situation, and going down on bended knee any further than you have done already will see you in a full-on begging position, and that is NOT cool ...

Bighug

So stand up, dust yourself off (it may take a little time, but we'll all be there for you), take a deep breath, have a cry if it makes you feel better, and take the first step (with us) towards a healthier, happier future for yourself.
