Affordable living in Manhattan?

We decided to move to the big apple, specifically for Manhattan, NYC the end of November, 2012 ...
Would like to find a gay or lesbian couple/individuals who needs roommates or better if has an apartment for rent. Would like to find those opportunities which can affordable for our budget. If you have something for us, please let us know about it. Thank you.

hey mack, i did a similar move last march. I would say look on craigslist under apartments or room. Dont limit to manhattan, Brooklyn/Queens might be cheaper for more space and as nice. Good luck on your search.
