How do you cope with the holidays?

Well I am in a unique situation as I live overseas so I do not have to deal with them. I have to deal with their holidays, which are just loud, congested, and waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay to much pollution, so I would rather just stay at home or with a small group of friends.
