I would hope that one day you would get the determination and courage to do it for yourself. Relying on someone else for strength and encouragement is a slippery slope that often leads to trouble and relapse. Only you can build your own self esteem. Friendships and relationships are great... but in the end, you're the one who has to like & love yourself the most, and you're the one person whom you can rely on 100%.

I can only relate in as much as I'm gay, and bald (and could probably stand to lose a few pounds myself)... I know people can be cruel. The comments, the looks, the double innuendo... but what hurt worse was seeing your "Fat Jokes" thread. You treating yourself that way. No more fat jokes.
