I once went to a charity ball with a girl who wanted to go because she thought one of the celebs she fancied would be there and her bf wouldn't go. I was sat next to senior investment bankers and a guy off daytime tv. I ended up getting very drunk and interrogated like Jack Dawson by Rose's mum in Titanic. D/h?

Someone on facebook shared an over-enthusiastic post today about these:



...the post was something like "OMG! *So* leaving the carving knife behind this Halloween and doing dipped pumpkins instead!!!!!" (It was a lot more sugary and had loads of heart emojis and shit)

Now I'm really creative and stuff but I think they look pretentious and another example of people trying to look classy... But as my friend would say it's "all fur coat and no knickers"

Give me real pumpkins, with a knife, and faces, and gunk, and the smell, and candles.
