Just wanted to take a min and say that first and foremost," I Am Happy To Be Me". Right about now, I know what your thinking (not another over-bearing a**), but let me take a minute and explain.
I am proud to be me because I am happy with who I am and what I stand for. I have been out of the closet for almost 20 years, and while I will definitively attest that it has been a had road at times, I would never change the path that I have taken. In order to be happy with life itself, we must always accept who we are and what we stand for. With that being said, we must take those trials and tribulations called life and embrace it, work with it, and most importantly, live within these communities. Happiness comes from within with no secrets or skeletons in the closet, and in order for us to be truly happy, we must assure with ourselves that we are being true to ourselves. Without
being true to ourselves, we will never truly be happy with life itself.
To reiterate I Am Happy To Be Me, as should all of us.
