I split with my Partner back in September last year after 5 years, so I guess it's possible they can last. Just depends on the effort both parties put into the relationship

I kinda feel the same way Rowan. I mean, most of the people I knew back in high school are married and are having kids. Even my best friend is getting married and having a kid, but I feel left behind in a way. Part of it is my decision though, since I have decided to work on finding a steady career for myself before I try to commit to a relationship.

I think men are capable of dedicated, monogomous relationship. It is just hard to find. Back in the summer and early autumn, I decided to give internet dating sites a try, but I quickly found out that they are extremely superficial. I never put up a picture of myself, but I wrote long profiles. Nobody seemed to care, I usually got invites by men twice my age to go have a boink in the middle of nowhere :eek:

I've decided to stick with just hoping that somehow, somewhere I will bump into Mr. Right. (I just hope its soon :biggrin: )
