I just call it Coke or,Pepsi ,or whatever.

I call it soda. Most of my northern family calls it pop.

I have never heard someone say "soda" in the uk (except megumidisu just now) pop is the choice but thats not common, we’ll just say coke or whatever. Unless you want water from the tap- thats council pop!

I'm from Oregon originally, so I say soda. I get what pop is though, so it really doesn't bug me. "Soda pop" is a bit annoying though. Although since I moved to New Mexico, I've had to deal with everyone just saying "coke" for every kind of soda. That gets on my nerves more than anything.

Pop :0 although I don't think I've ever called it such - Soda is fizzy water in the UK
