It was true participation entertainment. I forget the whole list of paraphernalia one needed to watch the movie. Things like Rice for the wedding, toilet paper which is thrown when Dr Scott walks on set Brad yells 'Great Scott' and everyone throws toilet paper.

I think it grew to be adult entertainment. I recall reading the 'lines' that the audience says a couple years ago and there is a lot more profanity than I recall.

Tim Curry is an unsung master artist of the stage. He has played roles in so many movies and hasn't gotten the full recognition he deserves.

In like modern 'Artists' that Jim Carry who plays Jim Cary in every single movie he makes, Tim actually played Characters.

I performed Doctor Scott in a local stage production....being handicapped it worked..lol. Love the show.
