Put an ad on Craig's list saying you'll hire anyone to fix it, and that you'll leave your door unlocked and money on the table for them while you're out grocery shopping. Be sure to leave them a signed, blank check, and a note saying you'll trust the honor system for them to charge you the right amount, and for them to actually fix it in the first place.

Large vases with goldenrod and Queen Anne's Lace can be very impressive. Then gather smaller bouquets of various flowers and greenery. Ragweed makes a nice filler in the smaller arrangements if you can find it.
