I too have a high-pitched voice -- I think my voice is still the same from when I was a kid, actually. It bugs me so much, but I don't think there's anything I can do about it. I really dislike the sound of my own recorded voice, too. No one's ever made any comments about my voice though.

I have met gay guys with deep voices, but I'll say I haven't met many. OP shouldn't really worry too much about voices anyway, it's not like people have a much of a choice over this. And some hand gestures can be linked to people's background heritage, so I wouldn't worry about it either. Not saying it's not okay to have a "straight" acting gay preference, just saying you should try to relax about it and see if you get used to other gay flavors.

It's the same for me, I really hate my voice but I can't do anything! Munky Mine is not high-pitched but is soft, like a kid or a woman...
And as a bisexual, I prefer masculine boys/men.

Gay guys come in all shapes and sizes. I know plenty of straight guys who are very effeminate in their actions.

There are plenty of "straight" gay guys out there, who could walk past you or work with you every day and you would never know their gay.

Me? I was 20 years in the military. No high pitch voice and a pistol on my side. Didn't make me any less gay ;-)

I too, dont get a "boner" for guys who squeal and scream in high octives.
A real turn off.

But...theres a difference between a "screaming queen" and a man who just has a higher pitch to his voice.
Theres also "soft spoken" men. Not really a higher pitch, but they speak quietly and softly.

Then again, Ive heard some women who could out barritone Barry White!!!

I dont like men who try to squeal like 15 year old girls in heat. And I dont like flaming fags, screaming queens, or nelly nancies....or whatever you want to call them. Its fun sometimes, if your out having a loud fun time with people, but every day use? No way.

Its like the first time I saw Magnum PI with Tom Selleck. I saw the commercials for the show (way back when) and thought.."OMG! This guys going to have a mans voice to melt cement"!! Then I watch the first show when it comes on, and my jaw drops to the floor when he opens his mouth and talks like a queen! And OMG that hyena laugh!!! Definately one of those men who should be seen and never heard.

Well I certainly know what I like, so the intimacy would be fun. On the other hand, we wouldn't have much to talk about. lol

If my future boyfriend is gorgeous and has a high voice, I won't be offended if he straps a Darth Vader mask on.
