To answer pecker2013...

If you think coming out to your mother will improve your relationship, and if she loves you the way a mother should, it won't matter to her whether you are interested in men or women, she will be able to appreciate that you are happy.
I'm not certain about the entire spectrum of your relationship or her character, but your sexuality shouldn't hurt anyone's feelings, assuming you aren't dating a woman. Wink

I think it would help to have the Original Posted question

pecker2013 Wrote:Dear Counselor :

I'm forty five yrs. old, and I know now that I'm Gay. I constantly think of naked men,
and ONLY men. I don't find women the least bit attractive, not in a very long time.

My question is; How do I tell my mom I'm gay, without hurting her feelings ? I'm not worried about my sister and brother fiding out because they already suspect.

Please help me here, I strongly feel that if I tell her, it will improve our relationship.

If your 45, comfortable with your sexualty, and your siblings already know (or guess) what possible benefit do you gain from telling your mom?

If your not close to your mom now at 45, why on earth do you think telling her you're gay will bring you closer?

Unless there is an underlying reason your not telling us about, I would just leave things they way they are.
