'Course by abuse I do mean someone who harms me, I have coexisted with a hothead before with a volatile temper, but she didn't make me scared and I knew her moods would quickly pass.

But I found the question confusing. For example, what's the difference between "truth" and "honesty"? I'd think it would be the same save to a philosopher (though there are people who entertain with tall tales, definitely not telling the truth, but it's more of a game than deceit and you're not supposed to believe it you're supposed to be gobsmacked and/or amused by it).

And then why is "Lying" then added to the list further down?

That is, what's the difference between choosing "truth" or "honesty" or "lying"?
I thought the same thing at first, but Truth covers facts, where Honesty covers more feelings, at least the way I see it.

And Lying could cover anything from fact to feeling, so I think it's appropriate to categorize each separately.

You arent meant to over think this.
I didnt want to give anything away by defining what this is.

Basically, this is a simple personality test. You can decipher someones real personality by the word they choose.

Truth and honesty are actually separate things, as is a lie.
In this case, I cant define what these are, simply because they have different meanings for everyone who answers them. But they are a "signpost" to what kind of personality someone really has.

Basically, you are meant to choose a word from the list that means more to you than all of the others. Whether its what you believe in, live by, or perfer to have. Kind of like someone telling you to put all of your valuables in one small box. Its up to you to choose what goes in that box, as it is up to you to decide what word is most important to you.

There is no wrong or right answer, it is just one of my many research posts. Since this is a world wide forum, I thought this would be the best place to do this, since I would get a cross culture variety of responses.

I don't see how given that the words have different meanings to different people and you don't know what those differences are, but ok.

Thats ok. I understand what you are saying.

Im just a psychology buff and like to see what reactions some people have to my research posts.

Im not to good at explaining these kinds of things in writing, I do better with "in person" explanations.

What?!

You're not going to tell us what colours we are?
Or what kitchen utensil best represents us?
What our lucky numbers are?
Not even best animal familiar?

WORST PERSONALITY TEST EVAR.

I guess truth. I could never spend a day in a mind like Richard Feynman, sadly, but this quote by him is pretty much how I feel about things:

“I think it's much more interesting to live not knowing than to have answers which might be wrong. I have approximate answers and possible beliefs and different degrees of uncertainty about different things, but I am not absolutely sure of anything and there are many things I don't know anything about, such as whether it means anything to ask why we're here. I don't have to know an answer. I don't feel frightened not knowing things, by being lost in a mysterious universe without any purpose, which is the way it really is as far as I can tell.”

D for Fun!

The other concepts of the list are far too abstract for me and there are cases where they apply and where they don't.
