I finally finished "Wizard and Glass"! Now I'm reading "The Wise Man's Fear" by Patrick Rothfuss. This would be the second in the Kingkiller Chronicles. The first one being "The Name of the WInd", which is my favorite fantasy book so far Smile The magic system is really entertaining how he has it work too.

I just got done reading the book. I pretty much read it straight through cover to cover. Ill more than likely reread it at a slower pace to glean more information from it. I found the book to paint the gay life in a very depressingly superfical light. I could identify with some of what was said in the book however most of the affluent psychobabble Downs presented wasn't really relevant to me. The intended audience sounds to be affluent gay men that love the night life who are emotionally lost and have trouble staying in relationships. I found the ritzy glitz and glamour affluent anecdotes laced through out the book palatable at best. I would give this book 2 out of 5 stars after reading once. I would still recommend reading this book even though I wasnt extremely thrilled with it. It gave me insight into what makes other gay people tick that who are different than me.

Yes Ben I didn't feel the book was completely relevant to me, and I think most gays from this forum would find it in parts irrelevant to them... We're not the kind of gay guys he describes and had come to him for consultation.
