Is the book any good?
I'd always meant to read it as I love the film but I've never gotten round to it yet.

Some say the book is better... the film's already quite stunning;.. I think the book says stuff that the film had to leave out.

Actually, validation is difficult to come by if you're straight and nearly impossible if you're gay.
