Right now I am reading, Norton's Darwin, a collection of Darwin's writings and commentary (both misunderstandings and contemporary readings) on Darwinian evolution and its influence on culture. This is part of a 20th century literature seminar I am taking on the emerging field of Darwinian literary criticism, which I'm not entirely sold on as a critical methodology.
I am reading The Rover by Aphra Behn, English Restoration playwright.
I am re-reading Foucault's History of Sexuality.
I am reading an anthology of Helenistic philosophy focusing on Epicureanism, Stoicism, and Cynicism.
For pleasure, I am reading The Stand by Stephen King.

I've just starting to read a book I've just bought from a book market dated 1925 it's called 'Epitaphs, Graveyard Humour & Eulogy by W.H. Beable. There are some very funny moments in this old book.

i just read Steven Adlers book form Guns N Roses ... im not sure it was at all totally truthful apart from all the drug taking he did resulting in a stroke....he talks about what he ate on a certain day while on a drug binge then contradicts himself by saying he forgets many days, even years due to drug abuse - wish him well but not sure his recolections of thngs are totally accurate.
Dave Mustain from Megadeth's book was an amazing read - he doesnt hold back on putting blame on himself and how he cam full circle to be clean and happy - recommended for a music fan,, not just metal
