What book are you reading now?
read the slash one = that was a really good read , nothing bitchy , just telling yo about his life really, i do remember that he talked about steven adler as been a friend. but in Adlers book he made he sound like they were the the best friends ever from been young, although in slashes it doesnt appear that way . that makes me think that some of Stevens memorys from all the drugs is a little off at times

Still reading my Norton Darwin Anthology.

Reading Gulliver's Travels.

Reading several assorted essays from various sources.

Reading Three Lives and Q.E.D. by Gertrude Stein

For pleasure, Outlander by Diana Galbadon, I'm not above trashy romance novels, sadly. lol

A lot of books on gay issues recently seem to be concerned with marriage and the right to marry legally. They are also concerned with the natural impact of homosexuality on societies before our modern era and in our 21st century. Interesting reading, I'm sure.

I am actually in the middle of three books. I've been reading over the course of about 15 months. I had been trying to get back into reading, but so far it hasn't really been working.
Random Passage - Bernice Morgan
Titanic: The Long Night - Diane Hoh
The Hidden World - Allison Baird

In the middle of reading Something Like Summer by Jay Bell - it's cute, which is why I wanted to read it; it starts off with the gay-teen-falls-in-love-with-the-"straight"-jock-high-school cliche, but I think it talks about their relationship down the line too. Looking forward to finishing it.

Also read the graphic novel Americus, about a boy standing up for his local library to carry a Harry Potter-esque story in the heart of Kansas. His best friend turns out to be gay, but unfortunately the book ends before we get to see any revelations or anything, which is a bittersweet way to end it. Wish there was more and it was only the beginning!

as of late i have like been spamming a shitton of GLTB books.

Dreamboy, I am J, Saints of Augustine, Rainbow boys, Almost perfect. And i currently have "the geography club" and "down to the bone" in my room and i hope to finish them in the next two days. I have been really touched by some of these books. it's been ages since i cried for an event in a book. They are AMAZING. Almost perfect got me to tears. rainbow boys choked me up, saints on augstine was good. and dreamboy was just pleasant. i highly reccomend these and i will be looking for recommendations in the next few days. i cant continue with rainbow boys because the part 2 was never returned to the library- though they have part 3. i refuse to skip part two!
