I am going to read The Pinballs. I first read this book when I think I was about 8-10 years old. I only read it once and I NEVER forgot about it. I wanted to re-read it to remember why I have not been able to forget about it.

I just got the book "Gabby: A Story of Courage and Hope. Getting to start it soon.

For those unfamiliar with the story, Gabrielle Giffords is a congressional representative from Arizona, and she is shot by a crazy guy, while attending a 'meet and greet' event in public. She survives and is now in the recovery process: re-learning how to walk and talk again. Her husband is an astronaut and former Navy commander. So, the story is primarily from his point of view: their courtship, marriage, her relationship with the 2 step-daughters, as well as their career paths, etc. Looks really interesting, and I'm anxious to get started reading it!
