What book are you reading now?
I read a story about one of our kings; he reigned in 13th century. The story itself is interesting, but it is the way it is written that leaves me in awe every time I re-read the book. The way the author worked with the language is intriguing and beautiful. There is also a lot of inner monologues, showing all king's doubts and thoughts. He was 17 during the story. Life is not easy even for a king...

Sons And Lovers - D.H. Lawrence.

Oh and I just finished "The Pregnancy Project" by Gaby Rodriguez. Good read for teens and those interested (bad word choice but all I can think of since I'm exhausted) in learning the stereotypes about teenage pregnancy.

The Centaur - Algernon Blackwood

-finding it quite interesting, I originally picked it up while browsing spines at the library for gay books, first page I opened to seemed pretty implicatively homo... turned out I was wrong and that the theme is very strongly transcendental... which is really awesome, 'cause I'm totally into that!! (Though it still feels pretty queer, he has some pretty lengthy discussions of men's appearances and movements..)

Are there printed words which you interpret with your brain by way of your eyes?

Hi Vetehinen, I can't find anything about the book. Do you know if it was translated in English? What is it about? Thanks Smile

I'm afraid that it isn't translated to any language. Which is shame, because "Lumen ja jään maa" is amazing series, and right now only finnish people can enjoy it Sad But if someone starts to translate it, I wish them luck. They're gonna need it. This series contains elements from finnish and nordic mythology and because of that, there is lots of words that probably don't have translation in english.

Series told story about girl named Nonna and her guardian polarbear Fenris. Nonna is descendant of "black dragon" wizard Skafloc, who died thousand years earlier in War of the gods. Nonna is travels to "Troll's nail"(=Hiidenkynsi), fortress of the Icewitch Astrid, and because Nonna holds great powers and is first girl born in to Skafloc's lineage, she become Astrid's heir.

Just finished Ricky Martin's memoirs. I spent most of the book trying not to cry, and I'm not certain why. I always felt an odd connection to him, even before he came out, and his depictions of his experiences are so raw with emotion, I felt like he brought me closer. Amazing man.

Edit: Sixty-ninth post. I am an adolescent.
