What book are you reading now?
Recently finished Iron Council, by China Mieville. I love his writing; full of weirdness. I've just ordered 2 more of his books!

Just started reading The Secret History, by Donna Tartt. It was recommended by a friend.

Two books I recommend:
The Painting of Porcupine City
A Cranberry Hush

Both by Ben Monopoli. They're both gay life fiction. With a minor in the sex, Cranberry Hush has one while Painting has two, I think. They're both just about life and finding that place where you belong. Not even as a gay person, just as a person, who happens to be gay. They're immensely easy to fall into, I read Cranberry in one sitting and was itching to get back to Painting the entire time I wasn't reading it.

Kind of re-reading them now. I already spent this month's book budget.

Will Grayson, Will Grayson by John Green and David Levithan

Midnight - Various

Its a horror anthology with some of the best writers in the field out there - Ramsey Campbell being one of my favorites featured in the book. Good, moody horror that evokes Hitchcock more than the torture porn of today.

1984 by George Orwell

Still gives me chills to see how eerily accurate his visions of the future are.

I just finished reading an eBook called; The Silurian; Arthur's army - Book Three .

Extremely awesome. It's a twist on the classic tale of King Arthur and has some interesting aspects to it.

It's a romance, that at first has you confused, but at the end, makes you go 'awww' .

Basically, Arthur is in love with his best friend and advisor; Bedwyr (The Fox), but doesn't realize what type of love it is, but Bedwyr feels the same and is ashamed, because they're both royalty and can't be together(Bedwyr is also a prince of a neighboring country).

It's set in very early Britain, so the way they speak is pretty dated and some terms may upset people, for instance; Instead of saying gay, they say a Sodomite or Cock-Head (lol) .

I'm going to read book 4 asap lol :p, but I'm reading another book in the meantime.
~

It's called; The Persian.

It's about a young guy named Vaz, who comes to London(all these british books :p) to study art and ends up in the eye and affections of Tom, a local Photographer who graduated that previous year. Vaz had studied in Efsahan first, but decided to go to London, as their institute was a better choice for him.

They slowly get drawn together and play the 'Cat and Mouse' game.

... And that's as far as I've gotten so far :p .

Both books are pretty "Manly" meaning, there's no overly feminine guys in these books, although, in Arthur's Army, one character is described as "Graceful, Delicate and Innocent" not to mention has hair past his butt.

Just started reading book 7 of the Wheel of Time series by Robert Jordan. His writing style can be a bit tedious at times but the story is great and the characters/places are really well developed. I think there's at least 12/13 books though, so i've a while to go yet!
