I haven't really noticed the scores being low but maybe you're right. As for some users being snobby and critical... yes, you're probably right. Some reviews are downright pretentious. But even so there are loads of nice users and since nobody wants to talk about books in real life I think it's a nice place! Smile

Ha, unless your entire social life revolves around a university literature department, then it's hard to find people who want to talk about something other than books!

I've tried unsuccessfully (twice) to organize reading groups on this site, I haven't had much luck :p.

I like it too. When I say snobby and critical, I mean it in the best possible sense.

I am just finishing "Dog Blood" the sequel to David Moody's "Haters" which is amazing btw
Also I am reading a book for my composition class, "Left to Tell", its about this woman's life before during and after the Rwandan holocaust.
