Currently I'm reading "Youth and Communism" (just started). I'm about to start "The Pillars of the Earth" by Ken Follett. I also want to read "Team of Rivals" about Lincoln.....my bookshelf's getting a bit backed up, I'll have to catch up over Thanksgiving weekend....

'Apparition' by Rob Allen, which is interesting because it's written in tiny little 'chapters' that are on average one page each, often half a page, each with its own title. It's almost like a novel written in prose poetry.
•
I've decided to once again tackle 'The Tale of Genji': hopefully I'll finish it this time, my goal is 1-2 chapters a day which is a pretty slow but stable pace. If that fails I'll try some Virginia Woolf; never read anything by her so far.

"A Brief History Of The Freemasons - The True Story of the World's Most Powerful Secret Society" by Jasper Ridley. ISBN: 9781845296780.
•
"The End of the Ancient World & the Beginnings of the Middle Ages" by the amazing historian Ferdinand Lot
•
"Life of Pi" Yann Martel
"The Sheen on the Silk" Anne Perry
"The Help" Kathryn Stockett
