Keep The Aspidistra Flying by George Orwell

I bought it at a garage sale for a quarter and thought I had never read it before but after a couple pages realized I had. Since I didn't remember it before starting it, I guess there's nothing wrong with reading again.

I read "The Road to Wigan Pier" by Orwell but not "Keep The Aspidistra Flying". It's a good book ?

It's okay. I'm not a big Orwell fan.

Crime and Punishment. Usually when I read a classic just because I feel like I should somehow, I end up being disappointed. After all - "because I should" is hardly the best argument for reading something.

This time, however, I'm very positively surprised. So far it's absolutely amazing and I can't wait to see how things develop!

it is fantastic book there mate. the tv series bumbling colombo is based on the police character petrovic. notes form the underground is also a good read by dostoyevsky.

i am reading john connolly latest the wolf in winter i do not think they are as good as the early books but still one of my favourite authors and love the gay characters / assassins louis and angel. just love the books man. also reading a lot of scandinavian crime fiction and some non fictions books yes in the regard of NLP

my workmate has loaned me 50 DEAD MEN WALKING by Martin McGartland, its a story about the IRA, will start it tomorrow hopefully

I'm re-reading Capital (vol. 1) by Karl Marx. I've got the second and third volumes waiting... I'm guessing I won't be reading much of anything else in the summer ._.
